It’s Tax Refund Time!
It’s that time of year again – tax refunds are being received and there are questions. UMACHA is here to help and provide you with guidance when processing these tax refund credits. We’ve compiled some “examples” to demonstrate how to handle tax refund deposits. UMACHA used our contact person at FMS (Financial Management Service) – the US Governments financial manager; to ensure these question and answer scenarios are accurate according to 31 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Part 210 (the basis of the Green Book which are guidelines which outline how to process government ACH transactions).
